The Pedernales & 1/2 dz. other rivers which begin in the Hill Country flow into and make-up what we know as the Colorado River Watershed.  As shown in the aerials, with the ongoing drought there are no rivers in the Texas Hill Country any longer; Lake Travis is islands.
