- The 56 square miles of Colorado River water blown out their 60-STORY smokestacks each year — Water equal to 1/4 the entire City of Austin.

"We need to reduce our atmospheric greenhouse gas levels to below 350 parts per million in order to avoid climate catastrophe, the U.S. and the world must begin phasing out coal immediately in order to reach that target."
— Leading climate scientist Dr. James Hansen (Director NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies)

June 8, 2010
Welcome to the new re-design of our No Coal Coalition website. Please be patient while we reorganize our web site material. We’ve still got a lot of material to add back to our site. For those members who were used to the original website and want to locate any of those materials quickly; all of that information is available from our archive. Here’s the link to that site www.nocoalcoalition.org/archive/. All of that material will be added into our new site as quickly as possible.
We thank you for your patience.
